Trying to be King Hannibal x The MGs

My rules for playing shows (obviously there are no rules, these are just things I try to keep in mind)

1. No noodling: when you get onstage, the first note you play should be the first note of the first song. Give your guit a quick “chk” to make sure you’ve got volume but any checking should have been done and if it wasn’t, stick the landing on that first note and fiddle with your knobs and shit between tunes.

2. No shorts: ya know… do you and all but for me, no shorts unless you’re under 16 or over 55.

3. If there’s no drummer, sit down (and vice versa): I don’t like seeing singer songwriters standing up at a mic all by their lonesome, chill out, sit down. And if there’s a drummer and you’re not BB King, get up and do the whole bit.
